Worldwise Quiz 2016 hosted by Redland High School

Ordnance Survey Limited are sponsors of Worldwise Local Quiz

Ten teams from 5 locals schools were challenged on their geographical skills on Monday night (14th November 2016).
Rounds included: Geographical A to Z, 2016 Olympics, Google Earth, OS Maps, Rivers, Field Studies.

Our seasoned quizmaster, Dr. Tony Hoare, posed the questions to teams from Bristol Grammar, Backwell, St Mary Redcliiffe and Temple, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Redland High. Eventual winners were Bristol Grammar School(2), with QEH(2) taking second place. Third place went to Backwell School, after recount (sorry, SMRT).

1. the GA committee members who were in attendance to host, organise, offer refreshments, score (Janet Neil, Simon Killen, Chloe Gibson, Michelle Graffagnino, Garry Atterton), especially Rosemary and Kit Routledge for compiling the quiz (and spotting the ‘deliberate’ errors in the material provided by national GA!).
